Power Electronics Engineer is required for critical stand alone position within a world class electrical innovation company. Would you like to lead the technology road map by providing the link between Research Design and Product Development?

Salary & Benefits

This position is offered with a £60,000k to £70,000k basic salary combined with relocation assistance flexible working hours and a 15% bonus scheme; other benefits include life assurance, full company pension scheme, private health care and a training & development academy.

In order to be successful in this position you will need some or all of the following:

Essential

Design and analysis of inverters for electric machines

IGBT wide band gap for power devices

Proven experience of simulating & developing new concept designs

Hands on experience of testing in a laboratory environment

Knowledge of electronic cooling system design

Designing to relevant regulations standards and guidelines

Test evaluation and life testing of power electronic systems

Nice to haves

Phd qualified in relevant discipline

Minimum of 3 years experience working in a team environment

Expereince in usinh PLECS & MathCad, Simulink. Altium

Good understanding of design constraints for high volume manufacturing

Knowledge or experience of vehicle powertrain systems

PCB Design

UK Driving Licence
